Alan Dickinson is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. He played at representative level for Yorkshire, and at club level for Keighley (two spells), Castleford, Wakefield Trinity (loan) and Dewsbury, as a or .[2] [3]
Alan Dickinson won a cap for Yorkshire while at Castleford; he played left- in the 12-12 draw with Cumberland at Recreation Ground, Whitehaven on Tuesday 15 February 1977.[4]
Alan Dickinson played left- in Castleford's 7-11 defeat by Hull Kingston Rovers in the 1971 Yorkshire Cup Final during the 1971–72 season at Belle Vue, Wakefield on Saturday 21 August 1971.
