Alabama's 9th Senate district is one of 35 districts in the Alabama Senate. The district has been represented by Wes Kitchens since a special election in 2024.
Geography
The district covers the entirety of Marshall County, and portions of Blount and Madison counties.[2]

2024 (special)
Kitchens was unopposed in the general election; as such, he was declared elected without a vote.[3]
