Al Zubarah-class corvette explained

The Al Zubarah-class corvette,[1] sometimes called the Doha class,[2] is a class of multi-role corvette operated by the Qatari Emiri Navy. Four were built by Fincantieri.[3]

Development

On 16 June 2016,[4] Qatar awarded Fincantieri a contract that included the construction of the four Al Zubarah corvettes. The ships were delivered between 2021 and 2023.[3]

In 2023, Fincantieri offered Greece a derivative of the Al Zubarah, the FCx30.[2]
