Al Wusta Governorate (Arabic: مُحَافَظَة ٱلْوُسْطَى|translit=Muḥāfaẓat Al-Wusṭā|lit=The Central Governorate) is one of the governorates of Oman. Its capital city is Haima. It was previously a region ('mintaqah'), before becoming a governorate on .[1] [2]
