Al-Ism al-A'zam explained

(Arabic: الاسم الأعظم), literally "the Greatest Name",^{[1] [2] [3] [4]} also known as (Arabic: اسم الله الأکبر|lit=the Greatest Name of God|label=none),^{[5] [6]} refers in Islam to the greatest name of Allah,^{[7] [8]} known only to the prophets.

Significance

According to some Islamic hadiths, whoever calls to God using, his or her prayer (du'a) will be granted.^{[9] [10]}

In Shi'a Islam, is believed to have a powerful effect in the act of blessing.^[11]
