Al-Ism al-A'zam explained

(Arabic: الاسم الأعظم), literally "the Greatest Name",[1] [2] [3] [4] also known as (Arabic: اسم الله الأکبر|lit=the Greatest Name of God|label=none),[5] [6] refers in Islam to the greatest name of Allah,[7] [8] known only to the prophets.

Significance

According to some Islamic hadiths, whoever calls to God using, his or her prayer (du'a) will be granted.[9] [10]

In Shi'a Islam, is believed to have a powerful effect in the act of blessing.[11]
