Aethycteron Explained
Aethycteron is a genus of monogeneans belonging to the family Ancyrocephalidae.[1] [2] All members of the genus are parasitic on fish. The generic name is derived from the Greek, meaning "darter", due to the fact that its members have been found infecting darters.
