Aenetus montanus explained

Aenetus montanus is a moth of the family Hepialidae. It is known from the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales.[1]

The larvae feed on Eucalyptus pauciflora, subspecies pauciflora and niphophila. They bore in trees and saplings.
