Acrossocheilus longipinnis is a species of cyprinid fish from the Pearl River basin in southern China. It has sometimes been included as a subspecies of A. iridescens, but recent authorities recognize them as separate species.[1] M. longipinnis reaches at least 38cm (15inches) in length.[1] Juveniles are pale yellowish with 5–6 narrow dark bars, but in adults (over 11abbr=onNaNabbr=on long) the dark bars are broad.[1]
