Achaiion Explained

Achaiion or Achaeïum or Achaeum (Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Ἀχαίιον) was a town in the Tenedian Peraia of the ancient Troad.[1] The legend Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: AX (ACH) which some bronze coins found in this region bear is thought to refer to by Louis Robert,[2] but others attribute the coins to Achilleion.[3]

Its site is located near Hantepe, Asiatic Turkey.
