Abtar (fa|ابطر) is a village in, and the capital of, Nowabad Rural District of Arvandkenar District, Abadan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[2] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Alam (علم).[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 39 in 8 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 40 people in 10 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 27 people in 8 households.[6]
