About Everything There Is to Know (Spanish: De todas las cosas que se han de saber) is a 2021 Peruvian documentary film directed, written and edited by Sofía Velásquez Núñez.[1]
A group of filmmakers arrives in Santiago de Chuco, birthplace of the poet César Vallejo. With the excuse of a casting, the filmmakers occupy the main theater and the local inhabitants arrive, gradually revealing their lives embraced by the poet's aura. All of them, residents and filmmakers, get confused between verses, stories and poetry.[2]
About Everything There Is to Know had its world premiere in mid-November 2021 at the 7th University of Lima Film Week[3] then screened on November 22, 2021, at the 36th Mar del Plata International Film Festival[4] and on March 24, 2022, at the 25th Málaga Film Festival.[5]
