Ablabesmyia monilis explained

Ablabesmyia monilis, the Collared Banded-leg Midge,^[1] is a Palearctic species of Chironomidae described by Carl Linnaeus, in 1758.^[2] No sub-species mentioned in Catalogue of Life.^[3] It is found over all of Europe^[4]
