Currently, he operates three branches: one each in the commercial complexes of Jerudong, Serusop, and Pusat Bandar.[7] He maintains a low profile, with minimal coverage on social media and the internet.
After officially becoming a member of the royal family in 2022, he could be seen attending royal ceremonies and events.[8] The includes being at the handing over of the earnings from the Prince Azim: Son of the Arts documentary's special showing to charity in July 2022.[9] He would also attend the wedding ceremony of Prince Abdul Mateen and Anisha Rosnah in January 2024.

They are dressed in similar white brocade outfits with embellishments.[13] Tunku Idris Iskandar was among the foreign guests presented at the wedding. The royal bridegroom's parents, Nabil Mahmoud Abdulkadir Al-Hashimi and Hana Mohamed Yonis, were also present.[14] [15] [16]
In recognition of his new status, Abdullah has been bestowed with the title he was given the title of Pengiran Suami, and styled as Yang Amat Mulia (His Highness), by the command of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah.[17] [18] This signified his elevated royal status as the husband (consort) to Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah within the Bruneian royal family.[19]
