Abdi Banda (born 20 May 1995) is a Tanzanian professional footballer who plays as a defender for South African Premier Division club Richards Bay.
Born in Tanga, he has played club football for Coastal Union, Simba, Baroka and Highlands Park.[1] After Highlands Park sold their license to TS Galaxy, Banda was transferred in that squad, but was released since he was injured at the time.[2]
In September 2021 he signed for Mtibwa Sugar.[3] In June 2022 he signed for Chippa United.[4]
He made his international debut for Tanzania in 2014.
He has a daughter, born October 2019, with his wife Zabibu Kiba, the sister of Ali Kiba.[5] The child was initially reported to be a boy.[6]
