Abdeen Mosque should not be confused with Aberdeen Mosque and Islamic Centre.
Abdeen Mosque (Arabic: مسجد عابدين) is the main mosque in the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood in East Jerusalem, about 500m (1,600feet) away from Al-Aqsa and the Old City walls. It was built by brothers Abdel Muhsin and Omar Abdeen in 1939.[1]
