A Nice Place to Be is the fifth studio album by jazz saxophonist George Howard released in 1986 on MCA Records.[1] On the Billboard charts, it spent two weeks on top of the Traditional Jazz Albums chart, while peaking at number two on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart and number 22 on Top R&B Albums chart.

Critical reception

With a 3 out of 5 star rating, Ron Wynn of AllMusic remarked "More jazz content than usual, but still far from what Howard is capable of doing."
