The 2024 Vanier Cup, the 59th edition of the Canadian university football championship, is scheduled for November 23, 2024 at Richardson Memorial Stadium in Kingston, Ontario.[3] [4]

Host

This is scheduled to be the second time that Kingston will host the Vanier Cup with the first being in the previous year with the 58th Vanier Cup game.[5] However, it will be the fourth time that the school has hosted the university final, with the others taking place in 1920 and 1929.

Date

While no date was specified in the press release announcement, the U Sports calendar confirmed that the game is scheduled to take place on November 23, 2024.[3] [4]

Semi-Championships

The Vanier Cup is played between the champions of the Mitchell Bowl and the Uteck Bowl, the national semi-final games. In 2024, according to the rotating schedule, the Québec conference Dunsmore Cup championship team will visit the winners of the Canada West Hardy Trophy for the Mitchell Bowl. The Yates Cup Ontario championship team will visit the Atlantic conference's Loney Bowl championship team for the Uteck Bowl.[3]
