1996 Cannes Film Festival Explained
The 49th Cannes Film Festival was held from 9 to 20 May 1996. The went to Secrets & Lies by Mike Leigh.[1] [2] [3] [4]
The festival opened with Ridicule, directed by Patrice Leconte[5] [6] [7] and closed with Flirting with Disaster, directed by David O. Russell.[8] [9] Sabine Azéma was the mistress of ceremonies.
