The regiment was raised as 224 Field Regiment and is presently a medium regiment equipped with K9-Vajra T howitzers.^[1] It consists of 2241, 2242 and 2243 medium batteries.

• The regiment had the honour to participate in the Republic Day Parade in 2023 with its guns.^[4]

Motto
