2025 USF2000 Championship explained

The 2025 USF2000 Championship presented by Continental Tire will be the sixteenth season of the USF2000 Championship since its revival in 2010. The championship serves as the third rung of the IndyCar Series's USF Pro Championships ladder system.

Drivers and teams

All drivers will compete using Tatuus USF-22 racecars with Elite Mazda 2.0-014A engines and Continental tires.[3]

Driver changes

Exclusive Autosport signed Lucas Fecury to their team for his second season in the championship following a 14th-place finish in 2024 with DEForce Racing.

VRD Racing resigned Thomas Schrage for a second season after a part-time campaign with them in 2024.

Pabst Racing signed G3 Argyros who competed part-time last season with Jay Howard Driver Development.

Jay Howard Driver Development signed Anthony Martella who graduates from USF Juniors after running part-time with Exclusive Autosport in 2024.

Schedule

The 2025 schedule was revealed on September 17, 2024. The championship will visit the same eight circuits as it did in 2024: two street circuits, five road courses and one oval.[9] All rounds except the weekends at NOLA and Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park will run in support of the IndyCar Series.
