Indirect presidential elections are due to be held in Togo in 2025.[1] This will be the first ever election since the 2024 constitutional reform, where the president went from being directly elected by Togolese citizens to being indirectly elected by the National Assembly.
Following the constitutional reforms of 2024, the President will be indirectly elected by members of the National Assembly and can only serve two four year terms.[2]
