The 2025 Northern Territory local elections will be held on 23 August 2025 to elect the councils of the 17 local government areas (LGAs) in the Northern Territory, Australia. Several councils will also hold mayoral elections.[1] [2]

The Northern Territory Electoral Commission has stated there will be an increase in the cost of running the elections.[3]
