The 2025 Gloucestershire County Council election is due to take place on 1 May 2025 to elect members to Gloucestershire County Council in Gloucestershire, England.[1] All 53 seats will be elected. This will be on the same day as other local elections.

Background

At the 2021 election, the Conservatives won a majority of seats.[2] In May 2024, they lost their overall majority after one of its members defected to the Green Party.[3]
