The 2025 Eurocup-3 Spanish Winter Championship is a planned multi-event motor racing championship for single-seater open wheel formula racing cars held across the Iberian peninsula. This will be the inaugural season of the championship, created as a winter series counterpart to the Eurocup-3 series that is held later in the year across Europe.[1]
Teams will utilize the same Tatuus F3 T-318 chassis with a 270 hp Alfa Romeo-Autotecnica engine and Hankook tires used in the main series.[2]
After Eurocup-3 held a one-off non-championship winter event in 2024, plans for a full winter championship were revealed in late September of the same year.[3] This winter championship was then officially launched a few days later, with its calendar and event format also confirmed. The 2024 season will consist of three race weekends, the first two of which with three races, therefore differing from Eurocup-3's normal format of two races per weekend which will be used for the last round.[4] On 18 November, it was revealed that the last round at Circuito de Navarra was replaced with a round at MotorLand Aragón.[5]
