Previous season
The 2023 VCU Rams baseball team posted a 25–30 (11–13) regular season record, in their first season with LeCroy managing the team following former head coach, Shawn Stiffler's departure to coach Notre Dame.[1] The Rams failed to qualify for the Atlantic 10 Conference baseball tournament, and posted their first losing overall record and their first overall losing conference record since 2011.
