On 19 January 2024, a drone from the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an oil storage depot in the area of Bryansk in Russia.[1] [2] [3] [4] The Russian media reported that a fire caught and spread over 1000 square metres (10,763sq ft).[5] [6] The authorities in Bryansk reported no casualties at the time and the Bryansk governor claimed the drone was intercepted near the town of Klintsy and its explosives then fell on the oil depot. The drone strike was one of two attacks of Russian oil facilities.
