Draft

See main article: 2024 NBA draft.

The Pelicans will have one first-round pick entering the draft.[2] [3] This will technically be the first draft in franchise history where the New Orleans Pelicans franchise would work on the NBA draft when it lasted for two days of length instead of just one day like it had been ever since the draft was shortened down to just two rounds back in 1989.
