The 2024–25 New Orleans Pelicans season will be the 23rd season of the New Orleans Pelicans franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On August 8, 2024, the Pelicans announced that they would enter this season working with Gray Television owned stations around not just the state of Louisiana, but also parts of Alabama and Mississippi as well.[1]

The Pelicans will have one first-round pick entering the draft.[2] [3] This will technically be the first draft in franchise history where the New Orleans Pelicans franchise would work on the NBA draft when it lasted for two days of length instead of just one day like it had been ever since the draft was shortened down to just two rounds back in 1989.|- style="background:#"| 1| October 7| Orlando| |||| Smoothie King Center
