The 2024–25 Cleveland Cavaliers season will be the 55th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). On May 23, 2024, the Cavaliers fired their head coach J. B. Bickerstaff after five seasons with the team.[1] On June 28, 2024, the Cavaliers hired Kenny Atkinson as their new head coach.[2]

The Cavaliers will enter the draft (which will last for two straight days instead of one whole day like it had been since the NBA draft was shortened down to just two rounds back in 1989) with just one first-round pick.[3]
