The list of entered teams was announced on 9 July 2024.[1] [3] Originally, TuS Metzingen entered the Group stage automatically, but this was an error and HSG Bensheim/Auerbach took their place in the group stage instead.[4] On 14 August 2024, Neptunes de Nantes, who had automatically qualified for the group stage, withdrew and as a result, Motherson Mosonmagyaróvár (who would've taken part in Round 3) took their place in the group stage.[5]
