The 2024–25 Wagner Seahawks men's basketball team represents Wagner College during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Seahawks, led by third-year head coach Donald Copeland, play their home games at the Spiro Sports Center in Staten Island, New York as members of the Northeast Conference.
The Seahawks finished the 2023–24 season 17–16, 7–9 in NEC play to finish in sixth place.[1] They defeated Sacred Heart,[2] Central Connecticut,[3] and Merrimack to win the NEC tournament championship, earning their first NCAA tournament appearance since 2003, and in turn, earning the NEC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.[4] They received the #16 seed in the West Region,[5] where they defeated Howard in the First Four[6] before falling to top region seed North Carolina in the first round.[7]
The Northeast Conference released its preseason coaches' poll on October 24, 2024. The Seahawks were picked to finish tied for first in the conference.[8]
