The 2024–25 Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team represented Marquette University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team is led by fourth-year head coach Shaka Smart and played their home games at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a member of the Big East Conference.
The Golden Eagles finished the 2023–24 season 27–10, 14–6 in Big East play to finish in tie for second place. As a No. 3 seed in the Big East tournament they defeated Villanova in the quarterfinals and Providence in the semifinals to advance to the championship game where they lost to UConn.[1] [2] [3] They received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as the No. 2 seed in the South region. They defeated Western Kentucky in the first round and Colorado in the second round before getting upset in the sweet sixteen by NC State.
