The 2024–25 season will be Manchester United Women's seventh season since they were founded and their sixth in the Women's Super League, the professional top-flight women's league in England. The club will also compete in the FA Cup and League Cup.
Ahead of the season, manager Marc Skinner signed a one-year contract extension.[1]
For the fifth consecutive season, Manchester United Women scheduled at Old Trafford, increasing from two fixtures to three on the previous year. These will include the first match of the season against West Ham United on the weekend of 21/22 September 2024, against WSL debutants Crystal Palace on the weekend of 15/16 February 2025, and the team's final home game of the season against Manchester City on the weekend of 3/4 May 2025, marking the second consecutive season United has hosted the Manchester derby at Old Trafford.[2]
Amid disruptions caused by ongoing redevelopment work to the men's first team facilities at United's Carrington training base,[3] the club confirmed United Women would spend multiple weeks of pre-season based at St George's Park in Burton upon Trent. In September, the team will spend a week at the Marbella Football Center in Spain.[4] The pre-season fixtures were announced on 31 July 2024.[5]
