The 2024–25 Golden State Warriors season will be the 79th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), their 63rd in the San Francisco Bay Area, and their sixth season at the Chase Center. This will be the first time since the 2010–11 season that franchise mainstay Klay Thompson will not be on the opening night roster, as he left to join the Dallas Mavericks over the off-season through a sign-and-trade deal.

The Warriors will enter this draft (which will be two days long instead of just one day long like it previously has been since the NBA draft was shortened down to two rounds in 1989) with just one second-round pick.[1]
