The 2024 Tel Aviv mayoral election was held on February 27, 2024.^[1] Originally scheduled for October 31, 2023, the elections were delayed due to the Israel–Hamas war to elect the mayor of Tel Aviv.^[2] The election was part of the 2024 Israeli municipal elections. Campaign issues included the increasing cost of living,^[3] the local real estate market and high housing costs,^[4] frequent traffic jams,^{[5] [6]} the construction and delayed opening of the Tel Aviv Light Rail,^[7] and public transportation on Shabbat.^{[8] [9]}
