Alexander Zverev defeated Laslo Djere in the final, 7–5, 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2023 Hamburg European Open in his hometown of Hamburg.^[1]

Lorenzo Musetti was the defending champion,^[2] but lost to Djere in the quarterfinals.
