Tokito Oda defeated Alfie Hewett in the final, 6–1, 6–4 to win the men's singles wheelchair tennis title at the 2023 French Open.[1] Oda became the youngest major wheelchair singles champion.[2]

Shingo Kunieda was the reigning champion,[3] but he retired from professional tennis in January 2023.[4]
