The 2023–24 South Dakota Coyotes women's basketball represented the University of South Dakota in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Coyotes, led by second-year head coach Kayla Karius, compete in the Summit League. They played home games in Sanford Coyote Sports Center in Vermillion, South Dakota.
The Coyotes finished the 2022–23 season 14–16, 10–8 in Summit League play to finish in fourth place. As the No. 4 seed in the Summit League tournament, they lost in the quarterfinals to Oral Roberts.
