Pre-season and friendlies

On 8 June, Shrewsbury Town announced their first pre-season friendly, against Notts County.[34] Six days later, a second was added, against Coventry City.[35] A behind-closed-doors meeting with West Bromwich Albion was next to be added.[36] On July 5, a fourth friendly against Stourbridge was confirmed.[37]

FA Cup

The Shrews were drawn at home to Colchester United in the first round,[39] away to Notts County in the second round[40] and at home to Wrexham in the third round.[41] [42]

EFL Trophy
