The 2023–24 season is Kecskeméti Torna Egylet's 9th competitive season, 2nd consecutive season in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I and 112nd year in existence as a football club. In addition to the domestic league, Kecskemét participate in this season's editions of the Magyar Kupa and UEFA Europa Conference League.
István Szabó didn't have a UEFA Pro Licence to manage the team in the Conference League, as per István Lóczi has been appointed in these matches.[1] Kecskemét achieved the first European success in their history when they beat Riga at home, although in the second leg they knocked out of the competition in the last minute of extra time.[2]
