The 2023–24 Colorado Buffaloes women's basketball team represented the University of Colorado Boulder during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Buffaloes were led by eighth year head coach JR Payne and played their home games at the CU Events Center in their last season as members of the Pac-12 Conference before they will rejoin the Big 12 Conference in the 2024–25 season.[1]

Previous season

The Buffaloes finished the season 25–9, 13–5 in Pac-12 play to finish in third place. They defeated Oregon State in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 women's tournament before losing in the semifinals to Washington State.[2] [3] They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Women's Tournament where they defeated Middle Tennessee in the First Round and Duke in the Second Round before losing to Iowa in the Sweet Sixteen.[4] [5] [6] [7] This was the Buffaloes' first advancement to the Sweet Sixteen since 2003.
