The 2023–24 Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners women's basketball team represents California State University, Bakersfield during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Roadrunners, led by 13th-year head coach Greg McCall, play their home games at the Icardo Center in Bakersfield, California, as members of the Big West Conference.

Previous season

The Roadrunners finished the 2022–23 season 8–23, 3–17 in Big West play to finish in a tie for last (10th) place.[1] As the #9 seed in the Big West tournament, they defeated #8 seed Cal State Northridge in the first round,[2] and upset top-seeded UC Irvine in the quarterfinals,[3] before falling to #5 seed UC Santa Barbara in the semifinals.[4]
