On 26 May, Accrington Stanley announced their first two pre-season friendlies, against Blackburn Rovers and Cliterhoe.[52] [53] Four days later, a trip to face Warrington Town was confirmed.[54] On 9 June, a fourth friendly was confirmed, against Chesterfield.[55] Ten days later, a fifth friendly was booked, against York City.[56]
