The 2022–23 Deutsche Eishockey Liga season was the 29th season since the founding of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. It started on 15 September 2022.[1]
EHC Red Bull München won their fourth title after a finals win over ERC Ingolstadt.[2]
The season was contested by 15 teams, as the 2021–22 DEL2 champion, Löwen Frankfurt, received a license, replacing the Krefeld Pinguine, who were relegated to the DEL2[3] [4]
