In the 2020–21 season, JS Kabylie is competing in the Ligue 1 for the 52nd season, as well as the Algerian League Cup. It is their 52nd consecutive season in the top flight of Algerian football. They will be competing in Ligue 1 and the Confederation Cup.

A record season which ends with 57 matches played (record for a football club in Algeria), a Confederation Cup final (19 years after that of 2002), a League Cup won which allows the club to end a 10-year drought and add a new line to his record as well as a 5th place in the championship.
