The elections held in India in 2019 includes the general election, by-elections to the Lok Sabha, elections to 7 state legislative assemblies and numerous other by-elections to state legislative assemblies, councils and local bodies.[1]

General Elections

See main article: 2019 Indian General election. General elections were held in India in April to May 2019 to constitute the 17th Lok Sabha. The BJP-led NDA won the elections.
