The 2016–17 SVB Eerste Klasse was the 61st official season of the Eerste Klasse, the second highest football league competition of Suriname. The season began on 3 December 2016. It concluded on 17 June 2017.[1]
Nacional Deva Boys and Amar Deep were refused a license and were relegated to the Lidbondentoernooi. Flora, Slee Juniors, Tahitie and TOK were promoted from the Lidbondentoernooi.
