Dublin Colleges were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Kilkenny CBS in the Leinster Championship quarter-final.[1] [2]
The final was played on 22 April 2007 at Croke Park in Dublin, between De La Salle College Waterford and Kilkenny CBS, in what was their first ever meeting in the final.[3] De La Salle College Waterford won the match by 0–13 to 1–09 to claim their first ever Croke Cup title.[4] [5]
