Arnaud Clément was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Jérôme Haehnel.

Haehnel, who entered the tournament as a qualifier, won the title by defeating Richard Gasquet 7–6^(11–9), 6–4 in the final.^{[1] [2]}
