2001 Eurocard Ladies German Open – Singles Explained

Amélie Mauresmo defeated Jennifer Capriati in the final, 6 - 4, 2 - 6, 6 - 3 to win the singles tennis title at the 2001 WTA German Open.[1] [2]

Conchita Martínez was the reigning champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Capriati.[3]
